The corpse's hair is quite well preserved and retains much of its original color. portions of the teeth have been eaten away by the chemical contents of the bog, miniaturizing and blackening them. Many or all of the Grauballe Man's teeth (the exhibit is unclear) were also removed for examination shortly after his discovery.
